Phase 1

The first phase of formation begins thanks to an eruptive event, that is thanks to the formation of a lava flow with some slope.

Phase 2

This is the phase of constitution and formation of the embankments, above which the lava flows rather fluid, but still under the open sky.

Phase 3

This is one among the most important. It causes also the transverse sections that will be formed. In this phase we have the phenomenon of "lava-caving".

Phase 4

In this phase the percentage of alimentation of the lava decreases. In this way concretions developed in the ceiling of the only just created gallery. Recasting stalactites and bracket along the walls, by now almost solidified.

Phase 5

Phase in which we notice a further decrement of lava flow. Final phase of the formation. The lava tunnel is by now developed and solidified.
